CREATIVE STRATERGY & LAUNCH SUPPORT
I assisted Paris in helping her to distinguish their online presence, and understand their audience, while developing a brand voice that is both consistent and trustworthy.
Ensure the brand's core concepts translate into real-world and realistic results
After two successful Joy Retreats and a hiatus in 2026 TJR is back for 2027 and were in need of support for their third lauch.
We simplified workflows and sharpened brand materials, resulting in a more consistent and effective presence across the board. A 12-month strategy was developed to position her as a brand, aligning perfectly with the upcoming launch of Suet Mansion, a homewares brand set to launch in Winter 2026.
We ensured that all appropriate channels were effectively delivering content and conveying a unified message, with a strong focus on her website, Instagram, email, and newly launched Substack. Since its launch, Substack has achieved an average open rate exceeding 50% and continues to grow steadily, gaining new subscribers weekly.
It was been crucial to understand how all these elements work together, creating diverse channels for people to engage with, while recognising that people are drawn to different aspects. After consistent work in the last 3 months, Instagram followers have gone up by 15.5%, profile visits have risen by 91.7% compared to 3 months prior, and there has been a 37.1% increase in external clicks.
I ensure every project within the company stays, on time, budget and on brand. I have simplified workflows and communication between team members and I collaborate closely with the founder to help determine the best time to take on new projects so that things don’t get overcomplicated and confusing, and so we can consistently deliver a quality result overall.
I also help to maintain a consistent look, voice, and feel that helps a business grow and stay recognisable over the long term. After a successful year of building the owner’s personal brand alongside Suet Mansion, with that foundation in place, we are now preparing to launch the first product in 2026.
The client wanted to build on what we had already worked on the past few years. Our vision was a clear aesthetic, and visual storytelling which shines a light on the beautiful landscape of Barbados and the grounding experience of The Joy Retreat. This time having attended the retreat and gathered a beautiful array of content, we leant in on bold imagery taken on the island in 2025. We wanted the brand to express warmth and nurturing. For potential guests to feel drawn into the space usuing the bright, playful energy and colour-ways of the Caribbean.

CREATIVE STRATERGY & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
One of the primary coordinators for launching the inaugural festival and ensuring attendance. The festival was designed to celebrate the diversity of Southwark, where over 160 nationalities were represented.
The client's desire was to steer away from Instagram being its sole choice of community nurturing and promotion and become a tool rather than the final destination. The idea was to create and produce something regular and for the client to gain confidence with their writing and output.
The brand lacked a unified visual identity, resulting in a fragmented digital presence.
I managed the project and client interactions from brief to delivery, working across teams and functions. My responsibilities included sourcing appropriate food vendors, crafting press releases, establishing social media accounts, and engaging with local news outlets to promote the event. Managing the festival's narrative from the initial announcement all the way through to the content shared on the day of the event. The festival was a success attracting 7,000 attendees overall and securing a date for the following year.
We came up with two concepts that would feed into the brand and give the client the confidence to grow their community whilst also feeling aligned with their ethos. The area of expertise was ageing and menopause. Growing into Joy, a name given through collaborative approach and brainstorming is about celebrating growth and ageing rather than fearing it and the peaks and troughs along the way. The Substack has seen steady growth since its conception in May 2026 with new subscribers each week and the client is growing more confident daily with a strategy in hand that suits her business and community.
We led creative overhaul for the company website and a new podcast series, transitioning the brand from a passive look to a bold, high-energy aesthetic. This cohesive redesign directly supported year-over-year growth and the site saw a 89% growth in visits which resulted in 70% of all company sales for the second annual Joy Retreat. I redesigned the logo and promotional materials, and travelled to Barbados to film engaging content and live follow-alongs for each day. Our goal was to encapsulate the island's vibrant culture and warmth while collecting promotional resources for future events and retreats.

'Working with Kareem on ways to get my message across on different platforms has been a game-changer She really listens and helped to hone my initial creative vision(s) in a way that feel very natural and not forced. As a creative putting my work into the world sometimes feels too salesy and inauthentic but Kareems insight has helped me move past my fears and become consistent without the cringe. I fully commend her work process and appreciate the care and attention to detail she lent to my project'
